Tools & Productivity Shorts

THE BRIEF

Digital tool adoption often stalls not because employees lack access, but because they lack the confidence to use tools effectively in the flow of work. This series was created to address that gap—delivering bite-sized, just-in-time applicable guidance on Microsoft 365 tools to a broad workforce audience. The learning objective for each video was simple and specific: teach one thing clearly in under a minute, so learners could apply it right away without leaving their workflow to attend a training session.

THE PROCESS

Each video was designed around a single, focused learning objective—one tool, one task, one takeaway. Topics spanned Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Bookings, and Microsoft Word, covering everything from organizing chats and controlling availability to understanding the foundational structure of Word as a workspace. The series was produced in Microsoft Stream, leveraging a tool already embedded in the organization’s ecosystem to ensure easy access and distribution. The short format was a deliberate instructional design decision—reducing cognitive load, respective learner time, and increasing the likelihood that content would actually be watched and applied.

THE OUTCOME

Learners across the workforce gained practical, immediately usable skills for tools they interact with daily. The series was designed to reduce friction, build confidence, and normalize the use of digital tools as part of everyday work rather than something requiring formal training. By covering both foundational concepts—what is Microsoft Teams, what is a Chat, what are Channels—and specific how-to skills, the series met learners at every level of digital fluency.
