Leadership Setting the Tone

THE BRIEF

One of the most persistent barriers to digital transformation is not resistance from teams; it’s the invisible work created by leaders who continue managing processes through private emails and paper. This video was created as part of a broader leadership curriculum to address that gap directly. The audience was organizational leadership, and the learning objective was clear: challenge leaders to identify one process they manage privately and make it visible in a shared digital space—modeling the transparency they are asking their teams to adopt.

THE PROCESS

The script was written to be both reflective and action-oriented, opening with a mindset shift and closing with a concrete, manageable challenge. Visual assets were sourced from Adobe Stock and designed in Canva, with some AI-generated video elements produced using Adobe Firefly to add dynamic visual interest while maintaining a polished, professional tone. The final video was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, with pacing intentionally structured to give each message point room to land before moving forward.

THE OUTCOME

Leaders who engaged with this video walked away with a specific, low-barrier action they could take immediately: moving one private process into a shared digital space. The video was designed to make digital transformation feel approachable rather than overwhelming, reinforcing that culture change starts with visible leadership behavior, not large-scale IT rollouts. The scenario-based framing helped leaders see themselves in the challenge and reduced the gap between learning and doing.

SKILLS DEMONSTRATED

This project demonstrates scriptwriting, instructional sequencing, and the ability to design for transfer—ensuring learners not only understand what to do but also feel equipped and motivated to do it. The integration of Adobe Firefly for AI-generated video content reflects awareness of emerging tools in instructional design and media production. Combined with Adobe Stock, Canva, and Premiere Pro, this piece showcases a full-stack approach to video-based learning design.
